Frame and footplates.

Select your size in the 3D builder and turn on Measurements. Check the footprint, posts and footplates, then read the matching manual before marking out or drilling.

Surface and support.

Each post needs firm support and suitable fixings. Check the surface and structure beneath it, then review the base guide with your installer before arranging assembly.

Space and clearance.

Leave room for furniture, doors and access around the pergola. Check louvre clearance, keep drainage outlets clear and use the screen guide to plan the sides.

Power and lighting.

Como and Tora need power for roofs and lights; electric screens and heaters do too. Use a qualified electrician, as pergola installation excludes electrical wiring.
