Think about low sunlight, neighbouring gardens and the route to your seating or dining area. Leave an opening clear where you want easy access.
Plan your pergola
Choose screens that fit your pergola.
Start with your pergola model and size, then decide which sides need shade or privacy. Match each screen to its opening and choose manual or electric control where available.
The right screen for each opening.
This guide follows the Aura, Como and Tora configurations available in the builder. Front and rear are the longer sides on rectangular models. Screen sizes below are nominal product sizes; confirm the fit for your exact pergola before ordering.

The openings column shows how many separate positions can be screened when all sides are used. Tora 8 × 4m has six openings: two at the front, two at the rear and one at each end. You can leave any opening clear.
Shape the space around your garden.
You can mix suitable screens, slatted walls and open sides. Choose privacy where it helps, while keeping useful entrances and views.
Step 2
Match the opening.
Use the model and nominal size in the table, then check the matching product. Do not choose a screen by rounding up a measured gap. The mounting points and frame fit also matter.
Step 3
Check your configuration.
Select your model and size in the 3D builder and configure each side. For an existing pergola, ask the team to check the fitting details before placing an accessory order.
Four configurable sides on Aura.
Aura 3 × 3m and 3 × 4m offer four configurable sides in the builder, with compatible manual screens or slatted walls. Electric screens are not an Aura option. Check the fit with the team if you are adding to a pergola you already own.
Where slatted walls fit.
Compatible slatted walls are available for nominal 3m and 4m openings. Tora’s 5m and 6m front and rear openings use electric screens for a closing side; slatted walls are not listed for those openings. Tora 8 × 4m uses separate 4m bays.
